Pierre Cassagne is a France-based photographer specializing in destination weddings and pre-wedding sessions, working with couples across France and Europe.

He doesn’t photograph weddings so much as the people inside them. A wedding is the moment two people are most themselves — exposed, alive, when social masks fall — and Pierre looks for the glances no one else catches, the pauses between the big moments, and the atmosphere that makes a day feel like no other.

Shooting a blend of digital and analogue film, his work is contemplative, poetic and cinematic, with a taste for deep shadows, directional light and emotional weight. It is drawn to what is honest, intimate and human — not because it’s perfect, but because it’s real.
